This is S.KT.
These are the guidelines regarding derivative works based on my original creations, as well as my own published works (though I wonder if these are even necessary).

While I do occasionally create derivative works based on the creations of others, the following text does not define the rights associated with those works. Please take note of this.

Definition of Derivative Works

For the purposes of this discussion, “derivative works” are defined as:

• Creating new content—such as music, illustrations, or videos—
• using S.KT.’s music, characters, worldview, or physical creations,
• and making that content available to the public.

The following guidelines do not apply to personal, non-commercial use.

List of potential derivative works (this list is not exhaustive):
・Music: Remixes, arrangements, covers, image songs, inspired songs, etc.
・Illustrations: Still images, animated illustrations, GIFs, etc.
・Video: Music videos, video productions, use of assets in explanatory videos, etc.
・Novels
・Audio works: Readings, voice dramas
・Critiques/Commentary
・Games: Free-to-play games

Music

• I welcome all kinds of creative activities, including remixes, arrangements, covers, image songs, and inspired works!
• Please ensure your creations do not violate public order and morals, and—if possible—avoid content that excessively damages dignity…

Characters

• I generally permit creative activities (such as fan art) featuring S.KT.’s characters!
• If you add new background details or settings, it helps to state that clearly to avoid confusion (though please note that the characters’ official backstories aren’t strictly defined).
• While I don’t create them myself, I have no issue with age-restricted (R-18) derivative works… provided they aren’t hateful creations that go too far or damage dignity. Just remember to use appropriate content warnings (zoning) when posting!

Rules for Downloaded/Purchased Items

• Redistributing downloaded or purchased items exactly as-is without permission is prohibited. Please be aware of this.
• You are permitted to use the material in your own music (arrangements, remixes) or videos (including MADs/fan-made music videos) after modifying it—even for monetization on video streaming sites as an individual.
• You may use the images found on this page.
• Instrumental tracks are available on piapro.

Video Clips

Feel free to create video clips or take screenshots. You are welcome to post them on social media!

If You Spot Suspicious Activity

S.KT. is generally not involved with any sites outside of this list.

If you come across an illegal download site, please contact me first. Also, please avoid downloading anything from such sites whenever possible. However, I do not intend to take legal action unless the situation is particularly egregious.

That said, there may be cases where certain works are difficult to track down—for instance, due to broken links or the item no longer being sold. In such instances, provided the work is not a commercial product, I might be able to take some form of action if you contact me.

Finally, a word to those who lack the funds and feel they have no choice but to access the content without paying: while I understand that circumstances can be unavoidable, I will not fault you as long as your actions do not cross the line into criminal activity. If you enjoy the work, I would appreciate it if you could “pay it forward”—perhaps by purchasing other works—once you are in a better financial position.

Also, even if you come across behavior that appears to violate the rules, please refrain from taking matters into your own hands or meting out “vigilante justice.”
It is possible the person simply forgot, after all… (I will handle such matters myself.)
